so which one do you guy's have or like better? i haxe a hard modded xbox and i think it rocks the abillity to download games and connect to my computer for music and stuff like that. but soft mods might be better since you can have fun with them then trash em and you can go on live without a switch to turn your mod chip on and off. Crying or Very sad

1) Pirating is illegal, and not supported/endorsed by HiH.

2) Softmodded xbox's can do about everything a mod-chipped xbox can do, except for change start-up animations or work with an unlocked/blank hard drive.

3) You can turn a modchip off so it can go on Live.

4) Mod-chips are extremely better in your xbox's safety. There's about no point I can think of that a softmod is better at then a mod-chip except you don't open your case and touch a soldering iron.

i prefer modchips. i installed my modchip, and also softmodded 2 xboxs, and the modchip is better because i can custimize just about everything, and with a softmod you can't really

Softmods you mess up you got yourself a nice thing to smash
Hardmods you mess up and fix it as its impossible to mess up Smile (well its impossible to mess up unless you are a complete noob and flash your BIOS wrong like that guy that flashed his Xecuter 3 with a Spiderchip BIOS man he musta banged his head after that :O)

The Xecuter 3 chip would be perfectly fine - it has a FlashBIOS bank on it which he could start up and reflash the other banks.

As long as you back up your EEPROM, EVERYTHING is fixable with XboxHDM.
