Nice, that's pretty cool. Good job. Too bad you don't have incubus in there....

I guess I'm going to start working on my top forty as well.

Maybe not forty, on second thought.

This could be considered piracy and sharing of warez, which is illegal. You're risking getting Ducain in alot of trouble with the RIAA by posting those download links. And don't pretend you don't know it's wrong.

Other people pay for that music. Why are you special?

I know it's illegal, but what are the chances of the RIAA coming here, or somebody squealing to them? I need links for the obscure ones, because almost nobody knows what they sound like. If it will make you happy, I'll remove the links for the more well known songs.

Great job on that list, Killswitch! Very Happy A lot of it just seems like generic semi-metal modern rock, but there's a few things on the list that look interesting. (AC/DC, KoRn, Lynyrd Skynrd, Kid Rock, Metallica.)

Some of it is grunge-like, but I wouldn't label it as that. It really is good stuff . . . or at least I like it. This list is subject to change.

I don't mind saying "download", because this forum is definitely unimportant to the agencies that look for copyright violations. Also, I'm pretty confident that nobody is going to squeal to them about my activities. Just enjoy my tunes, and forget about the very slim chance of legal ramifications. Cool

Also, I've just run out of disk space, so I'll have to clear out a few things before I can listen to any of the stuff on your list, Killswitch. Sad

I was about to make that point about vid music. Why is The Andrew complaining about MY music, when there have been tons of vids with copyrighted music in them? I'm going to put the links back in, and anybody who is making a vid or two should take a look at these lists for some ideas.

I haven't heard any Dead Kennedys songs except Police Truck, but I've meaning to see if they have anything else good. Same thing with Tatu.

The videos are USING music, not posting straight up illegal downloads for them. It's different.

You, son, are a flipping idiot. I am ashamed of you.

GreekXboxMaster, your list is fabulous! Very Happy Classic rock beats the pants off all this modern schlapskie!

You need to adjust a couple of the song titles. The AC/DC song should be called "It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Want To Rock And Roll)", and "Paint It Black" shouldn't have a comma.

Using music is illegal if you haven't asked the record company for permission. When you buy a CD, it's designed for private use only. Radio stations have to pay a licensing fee each time they play a song, and film studios have to pay to use copyrighted music in their movies. I'll remove the links when people stop using music in vids without consulting the record company.

I don't like BYOB. The music video is interesting, but it's not a very good song.

Greek, have you heard Deep Purple's Child in Time? Over ten minutes long. I like it.
