This is my 1st video as member on the KDProduction crew. I managed to cover the distance between where you begin in High Charity and In Amber Clad and go a whole lot farther. I used the box launch method with about 80 gernades. I put the gernades in a nice tight pile that looked almost like 1 gernade. I even flew just above IAC once and went through the structure it is stuck in. I am pretty sure IAC is not solid but I hope a modder might see if they can find a solid spot on it. I also hit the Ceiling once(but didn't film it). I did film a couple of launches where I came very close to hitting the ceiling. The ceiling is just above the structure you start out at.
I hope you like the vid.

EDIT: Hmmmm...same method, same distance....

Nice! I never thought someone else could get even near that kind of height! (I went for distance when I attempted, not height)

Glad to see you in KDProductions!

Wow...... great job.
And to people who thinks the IAC isn't solid, it is.
Or at least the bottom platform that the IAC is on.

Umm, just tweak with the postion of your box, and related to the pile, i'd put the box about 3 feet from the box and throw the grenade about two feet away from the pile, make sure your standing on the box, very far very fast.

Hehe you guys always complain about movies being too dark! Notice that it's only on the...say...dark levels? Like HC, or QZ. We can't make light in a recording that has little to begin with, and brightening too much will just make a grayish flare over the action. Little less complaining about the darkness quality of vids on this site would make me happy Razz

Duelies...is there any way to make it to the VERY top of the tower? Have you or GAWMan made it? That's some sick height...*plotting* Very well done my friend. Very well done.

Using my method of launching you don't seem to get verticle launches much it's hard to launch straight up you usaully get a great deal of distance as well.
I made tut there's even a low res version.

well, we don't know that for sure right?
I mean in his video he went right over the top of it.
Technically the IAC isn't real, but it could be, cause the bottom platform that holds it up is.

Wow. That's all I have to say. Awesome job on the video..I can't think of how long it took you to gather up that many grenades and do the launch. I can say that was time well spent, as you ALMOST proved the fact that the IAC is either solid or not-solid. There were many times when watching the video that I thought you were going to land/go through IAC. Anyways, I've never seen anyone get that much height/distance on High Charity! Smile

GAHHH!!!!!!!! Why didn't I ever think of box launching!!! I tried doing it once with a normal grenade pile and it was the biggest failure attempt ever, I don't want to even talk about it, lol Laughing . So anyway, I was amazed to see how high you went. You went over the structure which takes almost 5 minutes to fly to on Gemini with a banshee. Then after watching the tutorial which showed how many 'nades where actually used, I'm surprised the map didn't overload. This is something I must try, and want to get to the Amber Clad. Also for the future, it is spelled "grenades" not "gernades", and not even Maranda Keyes calls it the "In Amber Clad" so just stick with "Amber Clad".

I would have never thought you could get that far with only a box. I guess using more nades solved that problem. Incredible.
