That narration was kind of..........special.

Good trick, I guess, but it'd be nice to have a better vid of it.

You only need one grenade to stay in the pelican. Not sure if the other 7 were for show, but whatever.... The narraration was... special. The floating assault rifles have been documented before. The yeti flood as well. I think FrogBlast killed 'em, and found their bodies. I could be wrong, but I know I've seen that before somewhere. Me personally, I never knew about that flood in the tree. Mostly because I speedrun Guilty Spark, and completely avoid that area. I know there's one yeti flood by the shade near the structure. I got him once with my pistol, but I can't remember if I found the body. Well, I know someone else did.

ok, i have said this hundreds of times, but the "yeti" flood is actually just an elite flood form... and when (or if) i get a capture card, i'd be happy to prove it

The Yeti Flood: Is a myterious Elite flood that apears a little too early they appear as allies. The reason there called the Yeti flood is because the dissapear whenever seen. They cannot be killed they are invincible and if you shoot it it falls down then gets back up.

They are elite flood, there are four of them in that part of the level. Two on top early on, one where you are shooting and one runs next to the Shade near the floating guns, in fact if you look at the video that I posted in the other topic on this, you can clearly see it in the beginning. If you want I'll make a video where I follow it, it moves about 20 ft past the Shade and then vanishes.

Actually, they never actually vanish, It is probably more HEX to remove a sprite than it is to simply move it, so they just moved them to the top of the level, you can see all four of them up there. It's lazy coding similar to the three grunts at the bottom of the AOTCR shaft.

I wonder what would happen if I stuck it with a plasma grenade Razz sounds like fun, if I do I'll post a vid, don't get your hopes up though.

Sticking one with a plasma would be easy, especially the one by the shade. Just shoot it down a couple times with the pistol so it gets back up when you get there. It'll run away for a couple seconds, then you can stick it.

okay i am sick and tired of this schlapskie saying "you double posted"

because all your doing that is just the same as you double posting yourself because its putting your post count up and all your saying is

"you double posted"

its pointless!

and by the way i'm pretty sure it is an elite form

You're also forgetting "FIRST POST!!", "wow that sucked", and the million "Welcome 2 HIH"'s. I mean its nice to greet new people, but I notice its now being used as a post raiser.

In ur vid, u said we needed a modder, well i modded it, and got a really clear pic of it, but my site's monthly bandwidth, it will work again on march 23rd, if u kno of any other way i can show u the pics, tell me. BTW u cannot kill the yeti flood without it standing up afterwards, i used multiple rockets i modded n and they couldn't permanently kill it, and after a few seconds of it spawning, it runs off and disappears, i watched it disappear on the log that it spawns on a few seconds after it spawns.

EDIT: Got it on Mythica, here's the link: http://useruploads.mythica.org/view.cgi?f=Yeti_Flood.wmv the last few pics r all that matter

Little does everyone know that there are four yeti flood, and you cannot kill them, they just disappear after the first time you knock them down.

In the thread creator's vid, he shoots the flood off of the log bridge. Don't shoot it. Just walk along the log bridge like normal, and you'll see that same flood on the other side near the covie turret.

As for the other three "yeti" flood...they are also triggered when you walk across the bridge, but appear as green dots on your radar. Two are on the cliffs above the bridge. The last one is in the swampy area next to the bridge. None can be killed. Like I said, you can shoot them, but it is scripted for them to disappear when the floating assault rifles spawn.

Why Bungie made them green dots is beyond me, because the ones on the cliff will jump at you and melee attack if you shoot them. But you need two players for that to happen. Have one player ride the pelican up, have one on the log bridge. Player 1 should walk to the cliff point above the bridge while Player 2 walks across the bridge to trigger the yeti flood. The two flood should spawn near Player 1. Shoot at them, they'll try to kill you, and they'll disappear before they can do anything detrimental.
