Computer shuts off at random times

So, im playing a computeer game and BOOM, my comp shuts down
it happens about every 3 minutes when im playing a computer game
its freaking annoying

Sounds like a case of overheating. Download Motherboard Monitor and monitor the temperatures.

Component - Recommended temperature (based on my experience) (temperatures in fahrenheits)

Processor (idle) - 86-104

Processor (under heavy load) - 130-140

Case - 86-104 (shouldn't go over 104 in any case)

Video card - 158 (the max.)

Trojans make you computer shut off at random times too, but does this ONLY happen when your on a game?

If you've got it turned on, turn of Windows Firewall. If you don't think you have it turned on, check anyway (under control panel) it has a habit of turning itself on if it's decided that you need your PC to crash more often.

how mutch RAM do you have? sometimes if you run out or use too mutch of your memory your computer seyz 'pfffft, work? thats not for me..' and shuts off. my old one used to do that (less than 100mb of RAM lol waaaaayyyyy oldzorz).
