lmao, it's no big, and I can certainly see that point of view. I just got drawn into it as soon as I saw it, because the earlier stages of the site reminded me very much of a book called House of Leaves, a sort of horror book that relied a lot on visual delivery of the story's text instead of traditional format, blowing conventional styles completely out of the water.

ilovebees is part of a subgenre of games called Alternate Reality Games, where a few puppetmasters control what's going on and a community of players follows and plays along, the object of the game being to advance the storyline. In this case, the storyline was Halo 2 backstory. At the end of the Halo 2 trailer that showed in theaters, the xbox.com url changed for a split second into ilovebees.com, and once a hi-res version of that trailer ended up on the net, there was a huge wave of people that jumped into the game just as it was kicking into high gear. Pretty cool thing to be a part of.
